We’ve been awfully busy here at Zeh’s Custom Design since last March. From a shop renovation to several more projects, as well as expanding our business, 2015 was an amazing year for us.
Thanks for staying tuned and checking us out!
In April 2015, a local Charter School contacted us and asked us to create a table for their AV room for sound and lighting purposes, and 2 weeks after that, they asked us to create a 17 by 7 foot cooperative learning table for their High School. We also had the opportunity to restore a 110-year-old roll-top desk, refinish 2 family pieces for the 14-year-old daughter of a client, update a built-in china hutch, create and install a modern floating shelf unit, repair a dining table, restore a second table, restored a pine cabinet, dining table and desk….
If reading that list doesn’t help explain our lack of articles here, I don’t know what else to say!
Over the Spring and Summer, we focused on the AV Table and the design of the Cooperative Learning table. We had several hundred board feet of wood delivered to the shop and began the creation process on both pieces.
As you can imagine, the Cooperative Learning table has been challenging us in many ways – from the design and physics to the artistry to the construction, we’re utilizing all our skills and resources. It is still under construction, so keep an eye out for the completion, installation and subsequent post.
