Pine Farm Table

This pine farm table had been used by our customer’s family for the whole time their children were growing up.  It was scratched, dented, wobbly, and in bad need of refinishing.

There was a very rustic feel to the table the customer wanted to keep with many dips and hills in the planks.

Carefully cleaning the table using a TSP solution, followed by careful hand sanding to smooth away the roughness of the boards, but keep the character, we filled some voids left by knots, repaired some joints, and tightened the legs so the table no longer wobbled and was level.

Some amber shellac to warm up the color of the pine and 5 coats of Arm-R-Seal finished this beautiful piece off.

Our customer fell in love with her table all over again, and it proudly graces their dining room and has already been used for several family dinners.
