We were contacted by a customer that wanted to update their living room.  Their home, built in the late ’90s, had that deep space next to their fireplace, meant to be an entertainment center space.  They’d added their own shelving but wanted to keep those special items on display safe behind doors that still allowed for their viewing pleasure.

We designed and carefully measured the space, and created the frames from red oak using a simple rail and stile with a single mullion splitting the vertical span to create more stability in the door.  We finished the frames using a custom blend of several different stains, and used a polycrylic finish.  They were then fitted with custom cut panes of glass and installed.
